Images: Plaster maquette for Confluence (1:18)
This sculpture is currently being created in clay at full-scale (approx. 3'9" high x 4' wide x 9'6' long ) and will be cast in bronze. It will be installed at Hamilton Lands Parcel 1 in the City of Richmond, October 2025.
The abstract forms represent the transformation of the land over time. The sculpture symbolizes the Fraser River as it flows from the mountains, through the delta, and into the Pacific Ocean, the peatlands, agricultural and harvesting, and land-use and development in the area over time. It is commissioned by Oris Consulting Ltd..
